All the following are just suggestions. As long as you stay clear of my DNWs, feel free to write whatever you want.

CROSSOVER

Dorian Gray (The Picture of Dorian Gray)/Henry Jekyll (Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde)

Dorian hears rumors of a mysterious man who terrorizes the streets of London and, out of boredom, tracks him down, only to discover this villain is really the respectable Henry Jekyll. He’s immediately enthralled by him. As a doctor, Jekyll would certainly be interested in Dorian’s immortality, if he was ever to find out. And they’re both hiding the worst part of themselves — literally — so they already have something in common. They might become each other’s confidants and then friends and then lovers, or spend a night of passion together and never see each other again. Your choice. Canonically, they don't exactly get a happy ending, but what if, together, they did? Or what if, precisely because they are together, they are doomed to unhappiness? If you want to write an AU, go ahead, but please keep both characters’ “conditions” (Modern AU where Mr Hyde is a 4chan troll and Dorian is an Instagram celebrity whose “painting” is a selfie hidden in the depths of his Dropbox).

MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE

Erik Killmonger/T'Challa

- AU where T’Challa doesn't let Erik die, but he doesn't imprison him either. Instead, he takes him under his wing and teaches him all there is to know about Wakanda. Of course, Erik is not happy at first, but after a while he starts giving T’Challa advice on how to run security and on what to do after Wakanda reveals itself to the world. They grow closer and closer, but don't realize it until Shuri point it out to them.

- High School AU where T’Challa transfers to an American school and is immediately basically forced to try out for the football team, whose captain is the very handsome Erik Killmonger (who he definitely doesn't have a crush on, shut up, Shuri!). There’s only one problem: T’Challa is a massive nerd who has no idea how to sport. Thankfully, Erik is just as much of a nerd (really, Erik? Anime?) and decides to help him.

ORIGINAL WORK

Alien/Alien of Warring Planet

Two alien empires have been at war for so long that hardly anyone remembers why. In the aftermath of a particularly bloody battle, two members of the opposite sides are gravely wounded. There’s an ambulance full of nanogenes that could cure them both not far away, but they only way to get to it is to do it together. Along the way, the two get to know each other, and maybe even discover they're not so different after all…. (Give the aliens as many tentacles/horns/appendages as you want, and make sure they use them.)

Superhero/Man That Looks Just Like Him

Here’s a few scenarios I’d like to read, mix and match them as you like:
- The superhero is a celebrity in his normal life, and needs his doppelganger to go to a charity gala posing as him while he fights crime or something. In exchange, he offers a favour. The favour turns out to be a date.
- Someone managed to snap a closeup photo of the superhero, and someone identifies him as the man. Everyone freaks out, and the man’s life turns into hell. The superhero shows up to say sorry/figure out what to do next. Feelings happen.
- Both of them are on their way to a costume party, the superhero dressed as a reporter (like Clark Kent, get it?) and the other man dressed as the superhero (because everyone keeps telling him he looks just like him). A villain kidnaps both of them and is really confused about what is going on.

(Whatever you choose to write, please have someone point out how narcissistic they both are for ending up together.)

 

VIKINGS

Athelstan/King Ecbert/Ragnar Lothbrok

We see that from the very beginning King Ecbert and Ragnar recognize each other as the great, powerful men they are. And we know they both look at Athelstan as this holy thing that sees and hear things can never hope to even begin to comprehend, and that they love him for it. Athelstan, in return, found a home (and even a friend) in both of them, discovering himself in the process. I could easily see a relationship where King Ecbert and Ragnar playfully compete for Athelstan’s affection, but let's not forget the pool scene between those first two (oh, boy!). I would love to see Athelstan taking control of the situation, both in and out of bed, maybe by having King Ecbert and Ragnar “perform” for him as he watches or something like that. If you don't feel like writing something set in the canon universe, I would love any kind of AU, especially a modern one.
